2015 Season Opener

Weekly Feature

Here is a sneak preview of what's to come from Nolon's first season of tackle football. He made overall top performer this year (equivalent to the #1 draft pick for 7U 2015) and this video of a little bit of him showing off his skills! #proudmama I am not sure that I am too excited about all this but he is so I am putting on a brave face. Season schedule will be posted soon so check back. In the meantime enjoy his highlight from Tuesday's scrimmage and as a heads up, he has Round Robin this weekend starting at 9AM at Warren Park on ElDorado in Frisco.

Nolon Makes FFL 5U Divison Top Performer

FFL football is definitely serious! They actually hold a combine where the kids have to perform in certain skills areas and be evaluated by coaches. Each kid is tested in 5 total events, and then the results of their events are given to coaches to pick from. What we didn't know was that kids who scored the highest in a given event would be awarded a Top Performer recognition. In true Buckels fashion, Mr. Nolon was one of the 5 top performers for his age group. An awesome achievement since there are about 100 kids or so just in the five year old group. He even got a really cool compression shirt with Top Performer on the back. Go Nolon, Go Nolon! We have also been assigned to the Falcon's football team for the 2013 season.
